best bc2 moment: shooting a moving apache from 500 yards out with an rpg and having it crash and blow up on an enemy tank. orgasmic.

Of course I learned to do that after it happened to me. ;P

I've played with the vehicles, they're definitely useful. Tank leading a zerg to a point is usually game over unless the other side is really working together. One of my favorite games was these two guys on the RV driving circles around the building and killing everyone and none of us could get off good enough shot to bring them down. It was pretty hilarious. A sniper finally laid down some C4 in their road and got them. Aiming is really better playing on the PC for sure, but if I do get it, it'll probably be on 360.
Aww dotn give into the console shiets. Games are onyl made for consoles because they are mroe marketable than PCs as gaming rigs cost a lot mroe than consoles. But FPS games should be played on the PC and not on the console. It doenst take that long for people to learn to play fps games on the PC as it does for people to play fps games on controllers. Business decisions are the reason pc games are just being ported from consoles, while true gamers (not fanboys of any kind) realize that pc games have advantages over consoles and vice versa. Play sporting games, 3rd person games and some rts/rpg games on consoles. Play fps games on pc with some rts and some rpg and definitely mmorpgs. I mean some games are better on the pc than on the console and again vice versa. And some genres can cross over from console to pc or pc to console. It al ldepends on the control system.

Sorry for the rant, just getting tired of games that are better on the pc just getting ported over to the pc. I would like to have HALO be mroe popular on the pc than on the 360.

I have decided not to get BC2 after playing the beta just sent in a ticket for a refund. Reasons, mainly the map they choose for the beta is HORRIBLE that map alone turned me off to the game after playing for 5 hours I never want to touch it again.

I agree I do need to branch out more into PC gaming and give it more of a try, but I do like consoles for the most part on games. (Besides MMO's) Maybe it's solely for nostalgia's, but I like having a controller over a mouse and keyboard.

FPS's in my personal experience really are better on PC, the accuracy and speed you can get shots off for me is better there. I've enjoyed Borderlands so far on PC. I think I'll end up getting Dragon Age for PC over 360 as well. I wouldn't say I'm a fanboy of either side really, just comfortable with consoles.

Yes, that map got old fast Ray. They should of defintely added more to keep it interesting. After awhile of playing I think I settled on Engineer as my favorite class. I like how the gun it has doesn't shake as much when shooting so I can get tighter shots off compared to the Assault, but maybe that's just me. Since vehicles are annoying as well, blowing them away is nice. I've yet to try repairing any of them though if that's what they do.

So your basing a game on one Beta map? sounds rash.

What about gameplay? Graphics? Controls?

Really? So far I've loved the map. What do you dislike about it?

Game play pretty standard for an FPS, graphics grainy and ugly, controls pretty standard. Two things I hated most about the map, annoying ass snow flying across my screen every 10 seconds and blocking my view, and the glare form that snow got real old real fast. Another thing that I hated was the lack of ANY form of a tutorial other then L4D I haven't played any FPS's really for a couple of years and I was constantly having to switch to the controls screen to see what button did what. Also I was very confused at the start how to tell enemy's from friendly's cause everyone looks the same god forbid they have a nice clear way to tell like in BF1942 red name kill, blue name cover also because of the snow I found names hard to make out. After a couple hours I got the hang of it but it was a very frustrating couple hours. When I play FPS's I like to start off with single player and get the hang of things, learn buttons, learn to tell enemy from friendly's etc. BC2 just threw me in there on a horrible map with a gun, no instructions and said good luck.

To be honest, thats what a beta is. Most of the tutorial shit hasn't be created yet. They expect people who are wanting to test stuff will have experience, and will know thats what. Because its so standard I fail to see how you had a hard time picking it up(2 hours seriously?) And as far as the graphics, I didn't exactly see anything grainy. As far as how hard it was to pick people out, I love it. In almost every other game, playing a sniper has very few advantages. With this, you can use ground cover, grass, trees, etc as actual cover, unlike BF1942, CS, MW2, etc.

Yeah that's another problem because it's so EZ mode for snipers that's what half the teams play.

Raytan your reasons are the dumbest fucking reasons I've ever heard. Teammates are marked blue or green ingame, GOD I WISH THIS BETA CAME WITH A TUTORIAL! Your reasons state that you just wanted to play single player to get use to the game, then why the fuck did you try a multiplayer beta?

A: I was asked my reasons why I did not lake the game, so im sorry if you don't agree with those reasons.

B: Most beta's/demos come with some form of a tutorial so im sorry if you think it was stupid of me to wish the game had one.

C: I never said that I "just wanted to play single player" I said I prefer to play single player until I am used to the game.

D: I did not know the beta was multiplayer only and the only reason I tried the beta was because it came with the pre-order, now im glad that I did try it because it kept me from wasting 50 bucks on a game I do not like.

So im sorry if I don't like your uber leet awesome game so much, I was hoping for a game play experience more like BF1942 which I loved but this was more like BF2 which I didn't care for so much. Had they chose a better beta map my opinion of the game might have been different, but the map alone has snuffed my interest in the game. Look at BF1942 the demo map for that was Wake Island, one of my favorite FPS maps of all time that map is what turned me on to BF1942, and that horrible mess of a map is what turned me off to BC2, sorry.

So far I really enjoy the game. Unlocking new things and moving up the ranks. I also enjoy the cover you get. Most Definately picking this one up and hoping BR makes a presence in this game.

I'm interested based on the feedback you guys are putting out here. I think I'll see about picking it up soon (if the beta is still avail.). Is it true that max players is 32?

Yeah, dedicated servers is going to take this game beyond MW2. I love the difficulty that this game presents. Honestly, the things raytan didnt like, i love. I love the snow flying around and making things harder. I love having to have a better eye to spot enemies. I love how many different types of cover you have for not only snipers, but all classes. I love the heavy artillery, the vehicles, and the upgrades that you get with classes the more that you play and succeed with them. Medics are hella fun too, reviving dead teammates can come through in the clutch.

Blue, so far my highlight is when defending as recon picking off an enemy coming full bore on an ATV and just watching him flop off and the ATV smash into something and blowing up, it was priceless.

If anyone wants to add me to their friends list its TranKuil.

Sounds great sherms im up for it.

Some other things that I love about this game are the new things you get as your rank improves, improved scopes for recon, and being able to hold the trigger down when zoomed in as a sniper and watching if your bullet hits your target. Calling in air strikes as a recon is bad ass too.

So far I really enjoy recon attacking and medic as defender. Havent really played assault much. As for engeneers, I can definitely see these guys being a HUGE help if they get good with leading those anti-tank/air missiles.

This game I think is finally going to fill my DoD void.
